John Y. Kim, Principal of Symphony Financial Services, Inc., Akron, Ohio, is a multi-disciplinary strategist in taxation, insurance, securities, and investment management. He is licensed for general securities and investments as well as life and health. In light of September 11, John pursued and received a commission as an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserves. Formerly assigned to the Office of Naval Intelligence at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, he is currently serving as an Intelligence Officer assigned to US Forces Japan Det 105 in Akron, OH.

John is a registered Representative and Investment Advisor with LPL (Linsco/Private Ledger) Financial, a full-service broker/dealer and registered investment adviser, providing financial planning, investment advice and brokerage services.
