Jim believes success should be measured not just by your financial well-being, but by how confident you feel about your future.  His mission is to help you reach your financial goals through a personal relationship, by using his experience and knowledgeable advice.   Helping you manage your wealth is a major part of our job together, but money is just a stepping stone on your path to pursuing your goals.

Jim graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking. 

Jim is licensed as an agent for Ohio Life and Health Insurance, Annuities and holds FINRA series 7 and 63 securities registrations with LPL Financial.

 Jim came to Symphony Financial Services from Ameriprise Financial Services, where he spent 24 plus years as an advisor.  Jim started in 1992 in St. Louis.  He then moved to Clearwater, Florida as a District Manager.  However, he ultimately made his way back to Akron, Ohio to allow his three children to grow up around family.

Jim resides in Copley, Ohio with his wife, Sherrie and three children.  Family comes first.  Jim is focused on spending time with his wife and children; helping them become compassionate, independent individuals.  In his spare time, he also enjoys golfing, hunting, and playing tennis.
